Business Intelligence Senior Analyst: Delivering and maintaining self-service reporting solutions utilising advanced analytics and visualisation tools for Group Payments business areas with an accent on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Focus on developing new dashboards and automation initiatives to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Location: Hybrid, spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Birmingham office. Open to Birmingham or Glasgow locations.

Salary: £40,824 - £45,360

What you will do

• Develop reporting solutions using advanced analytics and visualisation tools for self-service by business areas.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting in line with regulatory and governance requirements.
• Perform quality checks on data inputs and outputs, challenging discrepancies.
• Assist in automation initiatives within the Group Payments Performance Office.

Requirements

• Experience in advanced analytics tools (e.g. complex Excel, SQL, Python) and delivering analytics.
• Experience in developing MI reports using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
• Ability to interpret large, complex data sets and deliver solutions efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for data and analytics.
• Payments Knowledge: Awareness of activities and processes across Group Payments.
