What you will do

• Develop and implement audience engagement strategies across digital platforms.
• Plan, write, schedule, and analyze social media posts for various platforms.
• Assist with the creation of visually compelling short-form video content.
• Contribute to audience development by tracking website metrics and identifying segments.
• Engage directly with readers by responding to comments and highlighting community voices.

Requirements

• Familiarity with multiple social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a self-starter attitude.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new ways to promote stories.
• Strong communication skills for collaborative work with editorial teams.
• Strong interest in science, health, environment, or technology topics.
• Must work from New York on a hybrid model.
