TL;DR

Senior Middleware Automation Engineer (DevOps): Building and optimizing middleware automation solutions with an accent on CI/CD pipeline management, scripting, and monitoring. Focus on solving complex automation challenges and ensuring robust system operations across diverse tech environments.

Location: Hybrid work in Porto, Portugal. Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

Provide application support, including upgrade and patching processes.
Manage CI/CD environments using various DevOps tools.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Utilize monitoring tools for comprehensive system oversight.
Address and manage problems and incidents effectively.

Requirements

At least 6 years of professional experience with Problem and Incident Management.
Strong experience in application support, including the upgrade/patching process.
Strong experience with shell scripts and commands on Linux.
Strong knowledge of Python, Bash, and Powershell scripting.
Experience using automation tools like Ansible Tower.
Professional experience using DevOps tools such as GIT, JENKINS, Bitbucket, XLD/XLR, Confluence, and JIRA for CI/CD environments.
Experience using monitoring tools like Zabbix, Splunk, and Grafana.
Knowledge of ITSM.
Fluency in English (B2).
Availability for hybrid work in Porto, Portugal.
Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.
