TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes & GitOps): Building and operating production-grade Kubernetes platforms and GitOps-based deployment workflows with an accent on cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and observability. Focus on scaling distributed systems, improving production reliability, and implementing secure Infrastructure as Code standards.
Location: Remote (Global) or Porto, Portugal. Relocation program available to Portugal.

What you will do
- Design, operate, and optimize production-grade Kubernetes platforms and workloads.
- Implement and support GitOps workflows using Flux, Argo CD, or similar tools.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable, and secure application delivery.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with security teams to improve container, cluster, and supply-chain security.
- Mentor engineers on Kubernetes, DevOps, GitOps, and production operations best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale.
- Advanced knowledge of GitOps (Flux/Argo CD) and CI/CD platforms.
- Proficiency with Helm, Kustomize, and Linux systems networking.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, including EKS, IAM, VPC, and S3.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
Nice to have
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).
- Secrets Management experience (Vault, External Secrets).
- Platform Engineering and multi-region architecture experience.
- SRE practices and SLO-based operations.
