What you will do

• Plan and oversee all aspects of the production environment, defining strategies for APM and optimization.
• Respond to incidents and improve the platform to consistently reduce incident frequency over time.
• Automate code deployment across multiple lower environments and lead DevOps best practices in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Design and standardize monitoring and alerting mechanisms for supported applications.
• Collaborate with a global team to optimize the service lifecycle from design through deployment and refinement.
• Perform rotational on-call duties and handle occasional off-hours work to ensure system health.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal
• Proficiency in Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and application troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD and Ansible for automation.
• Ability to use monitoring tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Experience with Groovy scripting, YAML, and Git/Bitbucket.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment flows, switching, settlements, and authorization.
• Knowledge of Event Framework architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL.
