TechOps Engineer

TL;DR

TechOps Engineer (AI/SaaS): Building and scaling the internal technical operations infrastructure for an AI incident response platform with an accent on identity and access management, macOS fleet management, and office infrastructure. Location: Hybrid position based in San Francisco, requiring at least 3 days a week in the office. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $150,000–$220,000

What you will do

• Provide primary TechOps support to employees.
• Own identity and access management across the company's stack, including SSO/SCIM provisioning and the employee lifecycle.
• Manage the macOS fleet end-to-end, covering procurement, provisioning, deployment, and refreshes.
• Oversee San Francisco office infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for networking, AV, and physical security.
• Build automations to improve operational efficiency and accelerate team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience building or scaling TechOps at a growth-stage company, including creating systems and processes from scratch.
• Strong technical foundation in identity and access management (Google Workspace, SSO, SCIM), MDM (Kandji), and SaaS administration.
• Background in hands-on technical support with a commitment to high-quality service.
• Hands-on experience with office infrastructure, including networking, AV, meeting room setups, and physical access control.
• Ability to partner with various teams to understand operational challenges and develop solutions.
• Commitment to working from the San Francisco office at least 3 days a week.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
