Network Engineer - 2nd Shift

TL;DR

Network Engineer (System Engineering): Monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining network performance and infrastructure for a luxury electric vehicle company with an accent on network equipment configuration, security, and disaster recovery. Focus on identifying and troubleshooting complex network problems, implementing new technologies, and ensuring overall network reliability.

Location: Onsite at Casa Grande, AZ facility. This is a 2nd Shift role (6pm - 4am), four 10's schedule.

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze network performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and speed.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Identify and troubleshoot network problems, providing rapid resolutions and root cause analysis.
• Work with vendors and service providers to implement upgrades and new technologies.
• Maintain and update network documentation such as diagrams, inventories, and configurations.
• Ensure network security by implementing policies, monitoring access, and performing vulnerability assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in IT and IT Network Infrastructure.
• Proven hands-on experience in network administration and engineering.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS/DHCP.
• Experience with network security best practices and technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco DNAC).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Grafana).
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.
