What you will do

• Conduct business analysis to support objectives and answer business questions.
• Collaborate with BI teams in London, New York, Hong Kong, Data Quality, and IT to resolve issues.
• Compile mailing lists for catalogues and mailing campaigns and run ad hoc queries/reports.
• Liaise with technical staff and business users to communicate data quality requirements for Asia.
• Regularly review and ensure the quality of Asian client information within the Client System.
• Support day-to-day sales functions, including telephone, absentee, and online bids, and clerking.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese is essential.
• Highly proficient with MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Good understanding of Sotheby’s business and external factors affecting the company.
• Be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently to meet goals and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Fluent Mandarin.
• Not less than 2 years relevant experience in business analysis, data mining, and execution of database campaigns.
• VBA proficiency in Excel.
