Location: Chicago, United States. Employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $85,100 – $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 – $185,300 per year.

What you will do

• Leverage appropriate sources of data and determine optimal statistical methods for integrating data.
• Execute analyses and interpret results with actionable recommendations, and partner to build on others’ analyses and forecasting.
• Work within and across internal and client teams to deepen expertise in data sources, methodologies, models, analytical tools and processes, and business and client needs by industry vertical to deliver results.
• Develop internal and client-facing presentations that tell stories of analyses, reports, data visualizations, self-service platforms, key performance metrics, and talking points.
• Develop a depth of understanding of clients’ businesses across industry verticals, taking relevant industry trends, clients’ value proposition, and the competitive landscape into consideration to anticipate clients’ business problems.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
• 2+ years experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, R, SQL for data manipulation and visualization on large datasets.
• Solid ability to communicate complex analyses to a mix of both technical and non-technical partners and clients.
• Experience utilizing analytical tools to turn massive, dynamic datasets into actionable insights.
• Ability to travel 25% – 35% (air travel may be required), as appropriate.

Nice to have

• 4+ years experience in statistics, mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering, computer science, marketing, business, data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, business and financial analysis, or related field.
• 4+ years experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, SQL for data manipulation and visualization on large datasets.
• 4+ years in a partner or account management/client service/client-facing role.
• Preferred experience in the pharamaceutical industry.
• Experience in digital media, data analysis, measurement, and data management.
