TL;DR

Senior Digital Architect: Defining functional designs and application systems architecture across various digital platforms with an accent on leading alignment with Enterprise Procedures and Security Compliance. Focus on developing detailed architecture deliverables and designing technical infrastructure, including evaluating and deploying new technologies.

Location: Onsite in Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States Of America. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation is not available for this position.

Salary: $147,760.00 – $240,110.00

What you will do

• Lead alignment with Enterprise Procedures and Security Compliance across multiple digital platforms.
• Develop detailed architecture deliverables to solve business problems.
• Design an application's technical infrastructure, including databases, programming languages, and testing approaches.
• Lead the evaluation and deployment of new technologies to enhance existing digital technical capabilities.
• Participate in addressing business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions.

Requirements

• Analytical thinking for determining root causes and creating solutions.
• Effective communication skills to transmit, receive, and interpret information.
• Knowledge of application design methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Expertise in platform architecture and designing processing mechanisms.
• Ability to elicit, analyze, and record business functionality and non-functionality requirements.
• Requires working onsite five days a week.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Cloud architectures: AWS Well Architected Framework, serverless, CloudFormation stacks, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in Cybersecurity (DAST / SAST) monitoring and compliance.
• Expertise in programming systems in Java, .NET and/or Python.
• Expertise in building enterprise systems with sound architecture principles.
• Ability to assess, select, and introduce new technologies, including proof of concept and prototyping skills.
• Database knowledge: SQL & NoSQL, data modeling, replication, sharding.
• DevOps: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, automated testing.
• API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), versioning, and documentation.
• Understanding of AI development, LLM training and fine-tuning, ML development.
