TL;DR

Staff Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Building and scaling a financial platform for international payments in emerging markets with an accent on UI development, backend logic, and architectural decisions. Location: Hybrid in London or Paris.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the end-to-end product process from ideation to deployment.
  • Build intuitive and performant web interfaces for business owners.
  • Implement IT security and data protection best practices in a regulated environment.
  • Proactively drive architectural decisions for scalability, observability, and modularity.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth.
  • Represent engineering in cross-functional discussions to translate business goals into technical plans.

Requirements

  • A product mindset focused on customer, business, and long-term impact.
  • Strong understanding of web development, frontend, and backend best practices, mainly with JavaScript technologies.
  • Experience in a VC-backed or high-growth engineering team and building customer-facing products.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment with high pace and ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be based in London or Paris.

Nice to have

  • Speak and write in French and English.
  • Experience in Fintech, payments, wallets, or building ledgers.
  • Expertise in security and data protection best practices in an FCA regulated business.
