What you will do
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver exceptional product outcomes, influencing product strategy.
- Design and develop high-quality, well-documented, and thoroughly tested systems across the full stack (GoLang, AWS, Vue.js).
- Lead system design efforts for mid-to-large initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Champion best practices and support the growth of junior and mid-level colleagues.
- Continuously ship value to users while maintaining a high quality bar through testing and automation.
- Contribute to shaping engineering strategy and practices.
Requirements
- Worked in multiple engineering teams focused on building a customer focused SaaS product.
- Deep experience with either backend (Go, Java, C#, Python) or frontend (Typescript, Vue.js, React) development.
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL data stores, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS cloud-native services, and event-driven systems (SQS/SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience leading system design for non-trivial features, evaluating trade-offs.
- A desire to deeply understand customers and the problems they face.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and operate autonomously.
Nice to have
- Experience mentoring or coaching other engineers.
- Startup/scale-up background.
- Experience of data processing, machine learning, AI or integrating large datasets into a product.
- Worked with observability solutions (Kibana, Grafana, Sentry).
