What you will do

• Perform English to German translations and reviews for entertainment, marketing, PR, and Life Sciences content.
• Execute copy editing tasks on assigned projects or accounts.
• Provide linguistic lead support and coordinate activities for internal and freelance translators.
• Manage and maintain language materials, including glossaries, Style Guides, and work instructions.
• Conduct research to ensure high-quality delivery and master translation tools.
• Participate in process improvement and train internal linguists and freelancers.

Requirements

• Native fluency in German.
• Fluent in English (C1+), both written and spoken across various registers.
• 3+ years experience in Translation/Localization of marketing & Life Sciences content.
• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of the localization process and good user experience of standard CAT tools (e.g., XTM, SDL Studio, JIRA).
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and linguists.
