TL;DR

Legal Counsel (Commercial): Advising on commercial and technology matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of agreements with customers and partners. Focus on collaborating cross-functionally to support sales and partnerships, design and improve legal policies, and drive go-to-market contracting strategy while managing legal and business risks.

Location: Remote in the United States or from US hubs (San Francisco, New York)

Salary: $149,000–$288,000 USD annual base

hirify.global is a product company developing a platform for design and collaboration, helping teams bring ideas to life from brainstorming to product iteration, including with AI.

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with a wide array of customers and partners.
  • Support partnership and sales teams in signing on strategic partners and closing contracts.
  • Collaborate to design, implement, and improve hirify.global’s legal policies and procedures.
  • Help drive legal and go-to-market contracting strategy.
  • Advise the business on legal risks.

Requirements

  • J.D. and active law license in at least one state
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial and technology agreements (e.g., enterprise sales, data processing, SaaS, partnership agreements)
  • Collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong work ethic and comfort operating in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of privacy issues in commercial transactions

  • Experience using and advising on artificial intelligence
