Senior Legal Counsel

TL;DR

Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial Law): Providing a range of legal services for business operations with an accent on commercial transactions, customer and partner agreements, and risk management. Focus on understanding business priorities, ensuring compliance with global laws, and advising on data privacy and cybersecurity.

Location: Must be based in London, United Kingdom for a hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 days remote).

What you will do

• Act as a strategic partner for legal services across the EMEA/International region, understanding business segments and products.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate customer and partner agreements, including direct and channel agreements in the technology sector.
• Draft, review, and negotiate other commercial agreements with subcontractors and vendors.
• Implement the commercial contract approval matrix and ensure compliance with global laws, including anti-bribery, corruption, export, and trade sanctions.
• Advise on data privacy and cyber-security laws.
• Assist with corporate work related to legal entities in the International region.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years’ PQE with relevant experience gained from working in leading law firms and multinational technology companies.
• Proven success in multinational technology companies, specifically in cloud services, SaaS, software, and services.
• Significant experience negotiating customer and partner transactions across various markets in the APAC/International region.
• Solid IP and data privacy experience.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / Master of Laws (LLM) from an internationally recognized university.
• Must be based in London, United Kingdom for a hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 days remote).
