What you will do

• Implement and improve the enterprise data governance framework, including policies and processes.
• Facilitate data stewardship roles and support governance committees.
• Develop standards for data quality, metadata, business glossaries, and access controls.
• Support data lifecycle management, including retention and preservation activities.
• Assist in establishing governance for data intake, validation, and analytics collaboration.
• Train business and technical teams on governance practices and workflows.

Requirements

• Professional experience: 7–10 years in data governance, data management, or regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with data governance platforms and metadata tooling.
• Experience working with stewardship operating models and supporting cross-functional adoption.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders.
• Experience developing governance policies and documentation.
• Understanding of data quality concepts, data lifecycle processes, and metadata management.

Nice to have

• Experience with data quality tools and lineage platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory or compliance frameworks.
• Experience in environments with complex data ecosystems or multiple business units.
