TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Investigating and modeling business functions, processes, information flows, and data structures with an accent on gathering, analyzing, and validating business requirements. Focus on identifying areas for system and process improvements to achieve greater efficiency and support business growth.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester, UK. For new team members, the first month will be spent full-time in the office.

Salary: up to £50,000

What you will do

  • Investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows, and data structures.
  • Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
  • Produce high-quality specifications and business analysis deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, presenting findings and actions.
  • Assist in defining user acceptance tests for new or improved business processes and IT systems.
  • Analyze solutions by modeling processes, mapping data, and performing gap, impact, and risk analysis.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of 3-5 years as a Business Analyst in a professional setting.
  • Possession of, or substantial progress towards, a recognized Business Analysis professional qualification.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols.
  • Proficient in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and their practical application.
