Salary: $128,470.00 – $192,710.00 USD

What you will do

• Partner with platform, middleware, and application teams to design and implement a standardized, scalable build process for Linux-based embedded applications.
• Shape and enhance build tools and processes to enable consistent, high-quality application configurations across the enterprise.
• Work cross-functionally to perform application readiness and checkout activities prior to deployment.
• Collaborate with system teams to identify and close gaps in the embedded/Linux software development toolchain, including requirements management, builds, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering strong technical strategy, best practices, and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Proficiency in requirements analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking skills to identify underlying causes of technical issues and develop solutions.
• Knowledge of software design and development tools and activities to produce software products for embedded applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, and other object-oriented languages.
• Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash) and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across embedded, validation, and systems engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Degree from an accredited program in Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Skilled in using software development tools including Ubuntu, Git, Artifactory.
• Exposure to CI/CD systems like GitLab and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like Google test.
