What you will do
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans for new features and products.
- Implement tests during the pre-silicon and post-silicon product development phases.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams and represent the testing team in discussions.
- Drive the automation of tests within a Continuous Integration environment.
- Identify, triage, and debug issues collaboratively with software teams.
- Present test results to product owners, internal customers, and software developers to aid defect resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Experience in embedded systems and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Experience with a variety of MCU and DSP cores/processors.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for scripting or programming.
- Strong understanding of software testing and test automation principles.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers) for measurement and debugging.
- Experience developing and implementing embedded software tests on development boards.
- Candidates must be able to access technical data without a requirement for an export license due to export control restrictions.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jira, svn/git, and continuous integration systems (e.g., Jenkins).
- Familiarity with defect management practices and SDLC.
- Experience with Agile Scrum software development.
- Experience with SDK development or testing.
