Associate Product Manager (AI, APIs)

TL;DR

Associate Product Manager (AI, APIs): Supporting and accelerating the API/MCP program, designing, building, and deploying new endpoints, tools, and APIs, including projects involving unstructured data, partnering with AI teams. Focus on building out API specs to OpenAPI and hirify.global Standards, making the API catalogue AI-Ready, managing unstructured and vectorized data products, and improving product accuracy and reliability.

Location: Hybrid. Job locations include Boston, New York, Norwalk, and London. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future for U.S. locations.

Salary: $92,000–$115,000 USD (for Connecticut or New York City)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Content API and AI product teams on API and Endpoint/tool design.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing and evaluation framework for product accuracy.
• Review the API catalogue to identify opportunities for AI-readiness, including metadata and data auditing capabilities.
• Help manage unstructured and vectorized data products.
• Contribute to the development of the MCP Server and supporting functionality.
• Contribute to agile rituals and ensure alignment with prioritization and roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related industry experience.
• Previous experience and knowledge of APIs and/or Python, Postman.
• Deep understanding of client workflows and solution requirements.
• Experience in Product Development best practices, including Agile, SDLC, User Stories, and Acceptance criteria.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Stakeholder communication experience.
• JIRA and collaboration tool proficiency (Confluence, SharePoint).
• OpenAPI or technical specification writing experience.
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s content catalogue or industry content.
• Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering.
