Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 CAD

What you will do

• Support and align threat intelligence and hunting strategy with business objectives.
• Identify, prioritize, document, and communicate potential threats across the organization.
• Lead threat-informed defenses through collaboration with other cybersecurity functions.
• Hunt for threat actor behaviors and TTPs prioritized by threat intelligence.
• Model threats impacting Interac’s products and implement security stack improvements.
• Develop and disseminate actionable intelligence to enhance security posture.
• Manage internal threat intelligence platforms and their integration with security controls.
• Provide expert-level support for large-scale or complex security incidents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Threat Intelligence or Threat Management fields.
• Expertise in Threat Intelligence analysis and a strong understanding of security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Working experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms and their integration into security controls.
• Experience with threat modeling concepts (STRIDE, PASTA) and applying them to real-world scenarios.
• Experience using Cyber Kill Chain and Mitre ATT&CK frameworks.
• Experience conducting threat hunts using a hypothesis-led approach.
• Experience with security devices such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, HIDS/HIPS, Firewall, Antivirus, and EDR.
• Knowledge of security industry standards and best practices such as OWASP, ISO 27001/2, NIST.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global in Canada in a full-time capacity.
