What you will do

• Conduct proactive threat hunting across AWS environments using SIEM, EDR, and cloud-native telemetry.
• Investigate AWS GuardDuty findings and lead root cause analysis of security events.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds to strengthen detection capabilities.
• Execute vulnerability assessments and network segmentation scans, driving remediation.
• Audit AWS IAM policies and trust relationships to enforce least privilege.
• Support incident containment, eradication, and recovery efforts using IAM-centric response methods.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience securing AWS cloud environments within a SaaS or enterprise setting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and foundational security principles including OWASP Top 10.
• Proficiency with EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Rapid7) and cloud SIEM technologies (Splunk, Datadog, Sumo Logic).
• Ability to analyze threat actor behavior and perform structured root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work effectively within regulated environments and adhere to architectural and security standards.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Security+, SANS GCIH, or equivalent.
• Scripting or infrastructure-as-code techniques to automate security controls.
• Experience operating within Protected B compliant SaaS platforms.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance threat analysis or detection engineering.
