Senior Counsel (Fintech/Web3)

Location: Onsite in London, United Kingdom. This global role provides support across APAC and EMEA.

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of prime brokerage, trading, and commercial contracts, including master lending agreements and external client agreements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate building, delivery, and marketing of new products.
• Support international expansion of custody, trading, settlement, and related digital asset businesses.
• Manage legal and regulatory risks in a thoughtful and commercially practicable manner.

Requirements

• Qualified in UK, Singapore, or a comparable jurisdiction.
• 4-6+ years of related law firm and/or in-house legal experience at a financial services or crypto company.
• At least 2 years of experience advising or negotiating against institutional clients at a large law firm or bulge bracket bank.
• Strong understanding of laws and regulations applicable to transaction settlement, clearing, securities lending, securities/derivatives regulation, and extensions of credit.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in blockchain and digital assets.
