TL;DR
Junior Business Analyst (Fintech): Supporting product development lifecycle for the hirify.global website and apps with an accent on defining product changes and delivering excellent outcomes for customers. Focus on supporting strategic projects, smaller change initiatives, and resolving business queries.
Location: Hybrid in Manchester or London. You’ll spend a minimum of 50% of your working time per month in the office. For new team members, an initial period will be full-time in the office

What you will do
- Perform analysis to support the Product Management team in writing Problem Statements and new Product Proposals.
- Produce high-quality documentation for As-Is and To-Be process flows.
- Engage with business Subject Matter Experts to gather input and validate proposed enhancements.
- Provide support to web and mobile development teams through answering queries and testing/accepting development tickets in Jira
- Build knowledge in the business critical systems, both internal and external, which interface with the D2C digital platforms.
- Perform other tasks as agreed with the Lead Business Analyst or other managers within the Product Development team.
Requirements
- Business analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and familiarity with multiple delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of the FCA regulatory environment and Consumer Duty rules
- Creative thinker, comfortable with challenging the status quo.
- Able to organise multiple tasks and priorities, working from own initiative.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal English.
Nice to have
- Experience of an execution-only stockbroking environment.
- Experience of a product development environment with customer-facing web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with hirify.global’s D2C business model and back-office systems such as Figaro and Composer.
- Familiarity with Atlassian change management tools (Jira and Confluence).
