TL;DR
Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript, FinTech): Building and optimizing innovative compliance products for financial services with an accent on UI component architecture, performance, and scalability. Location: Hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the London office for the first 6 months, then at least 2 days per week. Must have permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Work closely with product experts, customers, and the technical team.
- Build new features end-to-end across a growing range of products.
- Contribute to the UI Guild to continually improve shared processes for building, testing, and releasing software.
- Teach and guide less experienced frontend engineers.
- Contribute flexibly across the whole stack as needed.
- Break down complex epics into bite-sized stories for Kanban-style work.
Requirements
- Experience with React and React Hooks.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency.
- Strong HTML and CSS proficiency.
- Experience using monorepo and build tools like Nx, Vite, or similar libraries.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Experience with agile development practices (TDD, CI/CD).
- Familiarity working with REST APIs.
- Must have permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Strong proficiency in testing frameworks (Testing Library, Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience working with design systems.
- Strong commitment to web accessibility, security, and performance.
- Experience with ASP.NET Web API, MVC, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, and similar).
