TL;DR

Analytical Lead (AI): Generates insights and recommendations to enhance clients' business performance and open new investment avenues on the Microsoft Advertising platform with an accent on industry knowledge, digital marketing expertise, and advanced analytical methods. Focus on crafting compelling data stories that sway decision-makers using visualizations and narrative techniques.

Location: Within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S.

Salary: USD $85,100 – $185,300 per year.

What you will do

  • Leverage appropriate data sources and statistical methods to address data gaps and quality issues.
  • Determine analytical techniques to address business questions, execute analyses, and interpret results with actionable recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of data privacy and governance rules and regulations, ensuring work products align with principles and controls.
  • Collaborate within and across internal and client teams to deepen expertise in data sources, methodologies, and analytical tools.
  • Develop internal and client-facing presentations that tell stories of analyses, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Understand clients’ businesses across industry verticals, anticipating their business problems and identifying opportunities for Microsoft Advertising.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, R, and SQL for data manipulation and visualization on large datasets.
  • Dynamic and creative critical thinking skills.
  • Solid ability to communicate complex analyses to a mix of technical and non-technical partners and clients.
  • Experience conducting, interpreting, and clearly communicating measurement analyses to inform client decisions.
  • Ability to travel 25% – 35% (air travel may be required), as appropriate.

Nice to have

  • 4+ years of experience in statistics, mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering, computer science, marketing, business, data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, business and financial analysis, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience using tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, DAX, and SQL for data manipulation and visualization on large datasets.
  • 4+ years in a partner or account management/client service/client-facing role.
  • Experience in digital media, data analysis, measurement, and data management.
  • Experience in the Technology and Telecommunications industry.
