TL;DR

Intern, Product Engineering: Contributing to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks within the Space & Defense Group with an accent on providing technical support and multidisciplinary teamwork. Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, VA, USA. Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship to Blacksburg, VA is required. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Salary: $23.42–$28.92 Hourly

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Engage in conceptual design, detail design, testing, and/or project engineering based on your educational discipline.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree program from an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (exact requirement will be specified by department).
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship is required.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.
