What you will do

• Help design, build, and maintain key backend services and the orchestration layer of the platform used by other product groups and customers.
• Design and build highly scalable and resilient distributed systems.
• Work with industry-leading technologies like Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Work on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projects.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and implement solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant work experience building backend software with a SaaS delivery model.
• 2+ years of recent experience building a microservices-oriented architecture.
• Expert knowledge of any of the following backend languages: Go, Scala, Java, or Node.js.
• Proven expertise in building distributed systems, micro services, and REST APIs.
• Production experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience developing applications using SQL and No-SQL databases.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Golang experience.
• Prior experience with cybersecurity.
