What you will do

• Own the ClinOps Tooling Vision and Roadmap, prioritizing improvements and new capabilities.
• Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team responsible for operational tooling, automation, and governance.
• Partner with AI and Product leadership to evolve the organization toward more scalable, automated, and AI-supported workflows.
• Translate operational processes into standardized, repeatable solutions, frameworks, and tools.
• Design and operate mechanisms that monitor team performance, adherence to standards, and workflow quality.
• Own complex, cross-functional inefficiencies, diagnosing root causes and leading implementation with clear metrics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Operations, Strategy, or Product in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams, setting direction, and driving consistent execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with high fluency in Looker, SQL, and advanced spreadsheets.
• Demonstrated success improving processes, systems, or quality through technology, automation, or governance.
• Experience designing performance measurement frameworks, auditing models, or operational control mechanisms.
• Ability to translate operational pain points into structured requirements and influence Product and Engineering.
• Experience owning roadmaps that span multiple quarters, stakeholders, and dependencies.
• A systems-thinking mindset, understanding how workflows, data, incentives, and tools interact at scale.
• Strong organizational discipline with a hands-on, outcome-oriented approach.
• Clear, structured communicator able to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity and drive to experiment with AI and emerging technologies to unlock scale.
• Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
