Salary: $181,000-$216,000/yr in Denver; $219,000-$255,000/yr in San Francisco, Seattle, and New York.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of data scientists, coaching them on impactful problem solving and career growth.
• Shape product and business strategy through data and AI, influencing long-term product roadmaps and investment priorities.
• Develop and scale measurement frameworks, defining key metrics and designing monitoring systems to rigorously track initiatives.
• Support experimentation and decision-making through inferential analyses, ensuring findings are actionable and aligned to strategic goals.
• Balance strategic influence with hands-on impact, diving deep into data, reviewing analyses, and ensuring technical soundness.
• Influence senior leadership by communicating clear insights and recommendations, framing trade-offs for executive decision-making.
• Strengthen the data craft at hirify.global, championing AI-native ways of working and partnering with engineering teams for scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science or related fields, with at least 4 years managing high-performing data science teams.
• Deep expertise in product analytics covering user acquisition, activation, retention, engagement, or expansion in SaaS environments.
• Technical fluency including advanced coding skills, practical experience with AI tools and workflows, strong statistical reasoning, and familiarity with experimentation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to connect insights to product and business goals, and to influence roadmaps through data.
• Proven experience presenting complex data insights to senior stakeholders, turning data into clear and actionable recommendations.
• History of working closely with Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to drive decisions and deliver impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML applications in product contexts (e.g., personalization, churn prediction, customer segmentation).
• Familiarity with multi-product SaaS ecosystems and customer lifecycle analytics.
