What you will do

• Develop new metrics using statistical and ML methods to interpret social listening data and identify high-performing content and issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to integrate LLM-based enrichments and pilot topic classification approaches.
• Evaluate and integrate new data sources, optimize data pipelines and database structures.
• Lead deep-dive analyses on topics like successful content formats or anomalous posts, including network analysis of social media actors.
• Recommend AI tools to augment workflows and translate datasets into actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in data science or ML, preferably politics/social impact
• Advanced SQL and Python expertise
• Experience with messy real-world data, strong programming and debugging for scalable systems

Nice to have

• Google BigQuery and GCP services (Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, etc.)
• Collaborative multi-disciplinary team experience
• DBT experience
