TL;DR

French Speaking Support Specialist (Hospitality): Assisting hospitality industry customers with a wide variety of requests from general education to hardware/software investigation with an accent on providing excellent customer support via phone, chat, and email. Focus on consistent troubleshooting, identifying and resolving customer issues, and escalating product bugs to the Quality Assurance team.

What you will do

  • Be the first point of contact for hospitality customers, providing assistance for general education and hardware/software issues.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues faced by hospitality customers during service.
  • Maintain Lightspeed's Gold Class standard for support via phone, chat, and email.
  • Document, track, and resolve customer interactions within support platforms.
  • Identify, reproduce, and escalate product issues and bugs to the Quality Assurance team, tracking through to resolution.
  • Advocate for product and service improvements and operate within a flexible roster/schedule.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience and/or technical support.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French & English.
  • Basic experience using common online, mobile, and desktop platforms, including iOS, Android, OSX, and Windows.

Nice to have

  • Experience interacting with customers through Phone, Email, Ticketing, and Live Chat platforms.
  • Experience or knowledge of the Hospitality industry.
  • Experience supporting a SaaS product or an iOS application.
  • Computer networking experience or interest.
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
