People Technology Workday Developer

People Technology Workday Developer (HR/Payroll): Designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Workday solutions to support HR and payroll processes with an accent on Workday HCM and Workday tools. Location: Must be based in Denver, San Francisco, or New York. Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in office expected.

Salary: $155,790 - $194,738/year in Denver, $183,580 - $229,475/year for New York/San Francisco.

What you will do

• Configure Workday modules such as HCM, Talent, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, and Time Tracking based on business requirements.
• Develop and update Workday Business Processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and security roles.
• Implement new features and optimize existing Workday functionality with each Workday release.
• Develop advanced, matrix, composite, and dashboard reports in Workday.
• Provide Workday system support, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance to key users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop test plans and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday development experience.
• Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, reporting, and calculated fields.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Workday certifications (HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Reporting).
• Experience in HR, payroll, benefits, or related domains.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
