What you will do

• Design and deliver core platform capabilities powering hirify.global applications, defining system architecture and functional specifications.
• Build highly scalable, distributed systems for enterprise customers.
• Lead complex design discussions and establish engineering best practices.
• Drive improvements in reliability, performance, and developer experience.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape the roadmap and engage with customers to translate ambiguity into clear, executable technical strategy.
• Mentor senior engineers, elevate technical depth across the organization, and create leverage through reusable platform investments.

Requirements

• 12+ years building and shipping complex software systems.
• Proven track record driving large-scale technical initiatives end-to-end.
• History of mentoring and raising the bar for engineering teams.
• Strong expertise across modern backend stacks, including Go, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Deep experience designing distributed systems at enterprise scale.
• Strong API design and platform thinking, with a solid understanding of security and compliance in SaaS environments.

Nice to have

• Fintech, accounting, or enterprise SaaS experience.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting workflows.
• Background in workflow automation platforms.
