What you will do

• Lead architectural direction across storage, streaming, and data lake platforms.
• Design and guide implementation of distributed systems, including database sharding and proxy-based query routing.
• Improve data freshness and latency by evolving streaming and ingestion systems.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define platform strategy and align roadmaps.
• Drive 0→1 initiatives for next-generation streaming, CDC, and data processing systems.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building and scaling distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in at least two of: storage systems, streaming platforms, or large-scale data processing.
• Strong understanding of database systems like PostgreSQL or DynamoDB.
• Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures using Kafka or Flink.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and collaborate across multiple teams.
