What you will do
- Serve as a hands-on technical lead and manager for a small team of approximately 5 engineers (60-70% individual contribution, 30-40% leadership).
- Be responsible for team output, including velocity and quality.
- Manage day-to-day team operations, task prioritization, and performance reviews.
- Act as a bridge between the team and stakeholders (customers, product managers, internal management).
- Provide technical mentorship to team members.
- Perform general project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Requirements
- ~10 years of experience in software engineering, designing and developing enterprise-grade applications and SaaS platforms.
- ~3 years in a technical lead role with demonstrable accomplishments.
- Strong experience with TypeScript or JavaScript; Go is preferred.
- Strong software architecture, design, and implementation experience.
- Experience designing and developing microservices in a highly scalable environment.
- Experience in planning, estimation, and execution in agile environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
