Salary: $119,000 – $166,500 (Potential to reach $190,500 based on performance).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ services and components.
• Participate in code reviews and advocate for engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Diagnose production issues and improve system performance using telemetry and profiling tools.
• Contribute to the operational excellence of high-scale flight search systems running on AWS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with experience in API and system design.
• Experience building and operating production-grade backend services.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design.
• Must be able to work on-site in Seattle, WA (no relocation provided).

• Experience working with large codebases and refactoring legacy systems.
• Interest in performance optimization, concurrency, and memory efficiency.
