Design Intern

TL;DR

Design Intern: Gaining exposure and understanding of the creative discipline at hirify.global with an accent on designing solutions that meet strategic objectives. Focus on creating mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids, interface demos, and photo retouching/enhancements.

Location: Hybrid, minimum 3 days a week in the New York office.

Salary: $21 USD/hour (monthly equivalent of $3360 USD)

What you will do

• Gain exposure to the creative discipline and collaborate on client and global intern projects.
• Work with a mentor to design solutions that meet strategic objectives.
• Create mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids, interface demos, and enhance photos.
• Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables.
• Build and maintain team rapport with multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• Must have a strong design portfolio included with your application.
• Currently in the second or third year of a four-year degree program, or first year of a two-year program.
• Strong visual, interactive, and graphic design skills that contribute to traditional digital media.
• Solid working knowledge of Mac OS, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Ability to comfortably brainstorm and contribute to bigger ideas.
• Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the web.
