hirify.global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FICC Automation & Electronic Trading Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize a high-performance platform for real-time pricing, quoting, and lifecycle automation in FICC derivatives products.
• Develop and maintain low-latency electronic trading systems and infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Work with FIX protocol for order routing, market data, and post-trade communication.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and sales to translate trading strategies and business requirements into production-ready code.
• Perform system analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Explore, evaluate, and incorporate AI tooling and machine learning techniques into development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on electronic trading systems and large-scale distributed platforms.
• Proven expertise in electronic trading concepts.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with FIX protocol versions.
• Strong programming skills in Java (commercial experience required), with proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in NoSQL data stores (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, or Elastic).
• Experience in modern message-oriented middleware (e.g., Kafka or RabbitMQ).
