Salary: $188,000–$275,000

What you will do

• Lead and develop a Forward Deployed Engineering team, focusing on hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Own delivery quality and customer outcomes by scoping engagements and ensuring successful deployments of AI agents using the W&B platform.
• Drive technical excellence by standardizing best practices and producing reusable assets for AI implementations.
• Create strong product feedback loops by synthesizing field learnings and partnering with Product/Engineering to influence the Weave roadmap.
• Run FDE operations, defining metrics, improving processes, and coordinating escalations.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with expertise in Python and modern ML/AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and/or orchestration frameworks, including deploying real systems beyond prototypes.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams in high-ownership environments.
• Prior experience working directly with customers in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or similar roles.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts and drive alignment in ambiguous situations.
• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
