What you will do

• Work hands-on on the core gameplay experience by designing and evolving reliable, high-performance services for Top Eleven.
• Own the feature lifecycle from concept and technical design to fast-paced deployment.
• Proactively solve performance and reliability challenges to ensure a seamless experience for the game community.
• Influence both technical solutions and gameplay-related decisions, continuously mastering new technologies.
• Work cross-functionally with other Backend Engineers, Client Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Game Designers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with server application development.
• Strong experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (Java, C#, C/C++, Python, Go, or similar).
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Highly motivated self-learner who enjoys diving deep and contributing across different technical aspects of game development.
• A genuine passion for games, not just software development.
• Work format: Hybrid, on-site position in Belgrade, Serbia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar.
