Principal Product Designer (AI): Designing AI-powered monetization experiences for hirify.global Copilot, Bing, MSN, and gaming with an accent on quality, trust, and positive user impact. Focus on integrating new AI technologies into products and leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative zero-to-one products.

Location: This is a hybrid position, onsite 4x a week, in Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA.

Salary: USD $139,900 – $274,800 per year. In San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year.

• Ship world-class AI-powered experiences with an emphasis on quality and positive user impact.
• Stay aware of new technological innovations within AI and bring these innovations into our products and team’s design practices.
• Own the user experience for a product area/domain.
• Partner with product teams to define goals and performance indicators.
• Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• 6+ years (Master's) or 8+ years (Bachelor's) experience in product or service design.
• A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate experience designing world class consumer products from vision through launch.
• Proven track record of setting design vision for innovative products.
• Experience prompting LLMs, working with generative AI, and understanding how to meaningfully integrate AI into products.

Nice to have

• Demonstrate high craft in design work; must value craft and translate vision into well-polished design prototypes.
• Ability to break large bodies of work into a phased execution plan.
• Experience identifying research needs, and then diving into the results.
• Prototype-level engineering experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript or other development languages such as Python.
