What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for your domain and drive the High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for large-scale, distributed applications.
• Lead end-to-end component building, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Identify bottlenecks, failure points, and performance issues across the entire stack and implement solutions for fault tolerance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineering leaders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers, guiding them through complex technical deep dives and architectural decisions.
• Establish, maintain, and advocate for engineering best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 9+ years of progressive software engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying complex, large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Demonstrated experience operating at a Staff or Lead level, where you have successfully driven the architectural vision for critical business systems.
• Deep expertise in building distributed systems, Large-scale Apps, and complex API/database schema designs.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
