What you will do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud patterns using reusable Terraform modules.
- Optimize deployment automation with Octopus Deploy and Azure DevOps for infrastructure and application releases.
- Enforce cloud security standards, IAM, and architectural best practices across Azure and AWS.
- Partner with engineering teams to align application architectures with infrastructure services and CI/CD workflows.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on IaC best practices and operational excellence.
- Lead incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews for platform reliability.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer operating production-grade infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
- Deep proficiency with Terraform, including module development and multi-environment patterns.
- Extensive experience with Octopus Deploy and Azure DevOps for pipeline architecture.
- Strong Windows OS management and PowerShell scripting abilities.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing controls at scale.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
