What you will do

• Partner deeply with Product Managers and Engineers as a key member of an empowered product team.
• Conduct in-depth user research, run usability tests, and gather feedback to inform and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, low-fidelity drafts, and interactive prototypes that bring design concepts to life.
• Build and maintain a design system and style guide to ensure consistency across the platform.
• Deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile that engage and delight users.
• Proactively explore and apply new tools and technologies, including AI, to improve design quality and speed.

Requirements

• Proven Product Designer with a portfolio that sets the industry standard.
• Expert-level skills in Figma.
• Strong advocate for user-centered design and deep understanding of usability principles.
• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions to both designers and non-designers.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to support design choices with metrics and research.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong sense of ownership.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for experimenting with new tools and technologies, especially AI.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with UI animation, HTML, CSS, and front-end development.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate design, prototyping, or research.

Hiring process

• By Day 30: Understand product, customers, and business goals, and align with PM and Engineering leads.
• By Day 60: Lead user research and validation activities and deliver design artifacts for upcoming initiatives.
• By Day 90: Own design execution end-to-end in your product area and contribute to shaping product strategy.
