Salary: $184,500–$258,000 USD (up to $295,000 USD potential)

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve highly reliable platform services and frameworks.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of complex backend systems, including system and API design.
• Drive technical direction for platform capabilities, setting engineering standards.
• Own the full service lifecycle for critical platform components, including deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and integrate reusable platform capabilities.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve platform reliability and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience owning services end-to-end, including design, implementation, and operational support.
• Strong proficiency in system design (LLD), API design, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with modern service development practices (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud-based environments).
• Must have US work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and evolving platform capabilities for multiple teams at scale.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding workflows (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI Codex).
• Strong proficiency in Java development with Spring Boot, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
• Background in data platforms or data infrastructure (e.g., Kafka, Trino/Presto).
• Practical experience applying AI/ML concepts to platform engineering or data quality problems.
