TL;DR

Lead Solutions Architect (Medicaid): Designing and overseeing the implementation of complex technical solutions that align with client business objectives in the Medicaid markets with an accent on state variations, regulations, and the market landscape. Focus on bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring scalable and efficient solution designs.

Location: Fully remote opportunity with about 5% travel

Salary: $135,000 to $145,000 annually

What you will do

  • Design client solutions and guide clients to enable Cohere’s products to solve their needs.
  • Lead internal conversations to support new functionality, identify the responsible product manager, and ensure they understand requirements.
  • Partner with the project manager to ensure all required work is planned and resourced.
  • Maintain internal documentation as a source of truth on solution scope, milestones, and key resources.
  • Translate customer expectations and solution design into clear, well-documented requirements.
  • Partner with a Forward Deployed Engineer to develop requirements and high-level technical designs for novel customer problems and ensure customer value.

Requirements

  • 6+ years working as a solutions architect, business analyst, or product manager in a software and/or product organization serving health plans.
  • 5+ years with health plan customers in Medicaid markets including UM experience, and an understanding of how to navigate and compliance requirements.
  • Success in designing and implementing technology solutions with a specialized focus on prior authorization workflows and healthcare interoperability.
  • Demonstrate clear, precise writing that creates shared understanding and ensures everyone is working from the same playbook.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, adjusting the message to the audience.
  • Familiarity with building software products that support a health plan’s cost containment and UM needs with a background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development lifecycles; Familiar with Jira.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand software architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
