Salary: $35.00–$55.00 per hour (equivalent to $5,600–$8,800 monthly)

What you will do

• Conduct applied research on algorithms to detect/predict patient conditions.
• Study published work to inform research plans.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Specialists.
• Participate in developing system architectures for ML model training, testing, and deployment.
• Manage research project aspects including scope, resources, and schedule.
• Comply with R&D development processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in computer engineering/computer science or related field with an emphasis on digital signal processing and machine learning.
• Currently enrolled in an M.S. or Ph.D. degree program that includes training in machine learning theory and application.
• Practical experience with machine learning or signal processing in industry or an academic lab.
• Proficiency with object-oriented and scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Exposure to cloud computing and big data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
