What you will do
- Define architectural strategy, establish priorities, and drive execution across all technical initiatives.
- Design complex and high-impact technical solutions, leading critical decisions and ensuring alignment among multiple engineering teams.
- Coordinate Global Tech Debt Resolution programs to maintain development pace and raise quality standards.
- Research and discover emerging technology opportunities to generate significant business impact, contributing hands-on with proofs of concept or strategic solutions.
- Coach and mentor engineers across teams, providing architectural guidance and high-quality technical feedback.
- Own hosting infrastructure, ensuring fit-to-purpose and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building large-scale, high-complexity systems.
- Track record of proposing and implementing high-impact tech initiatives.
- Experience leading technical programs across multiple engineering teams.
- Extensive experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Proven experience in AI coding and setting up robust development environments.
- Familiarity with PHP, Javascript, and React.
- Expert-level knowledge of at least two database engines.
- Brilliant prioritization skills and a business-curious, results-focused mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for communicating complex technical concepts.
