TL;DR

Cyber Security Expert (Fintech): Developing and enhancing security monitoring, automation, and threat detection mechanisms to proactively prevent cyber threats and ensure compliance with security standards. Focus on implementing cyber security use cases, automating security playbooks, and analyzing security data for threat identification and incident prevention.

Location: Hybrid from Warsaw, Poland (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Salary: 1100-1400 PLN/day (B2B)

What you will do

• Drive, develop, implement, and maintain Cyber Security-related Use Cases.
• Automate security playbooks and build new integrations within security platforms.
• Detect and respond to Cyber Security and Compliance risks.
• Analyze security data to identify threats and prevent potential incidents.
• Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and monitoring capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of security technologies such as SOAR, SIEM, Firewalls, Proxy, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Protection.
• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with operating systems, networks, and databases.
• Solid understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and Cyber Kill Chain model.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify linkages across disparate datasets.
• Keen interest in technology and Cyber Security, with the ability to see the broader context.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• GIAC security certifications (blue team/red team path).
• CEH, OSCP, or similar security certifications.
